Trip Leader: Bettina Eastman
Biography
Bettina holds a degree in Biology with an emphasis on Zoology. Thirty years of field experience studying birds has provided her with vast knowledge of multiple aspects of nature. During her studies, her concentrated focus was on animals, taking classes in Entomology, Herpetology and Marine Biology. Having spent so much time in the field as a biologist and bird guide, she genuinely loves teaching others what she has learned. Bettina has been a volunteer with Sea and Sage Audubon for over 25 years. She is their Coastal Christmas Bird Count Compiler, manages the "Bird Seasons at the Marsh" Phenology study as part of the National Phenology Network and, works with the Education Committee leading "Outdoor Adventures" school tours.
