Eva Moylan

Eva Moylan Eva is from the California Central Coast and her love for birds began at a young age while observing California Towhees nesting in her yard. She recently earned a B.S. in Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is pursuing a career in research investigating avian ecology and conservation, with a particular interest in how sensory pollutants such as anthropogenic noise and light impact bird behavior and evolution. She has been involved in a range of conservation research through Cal Poly, including Black Oystercatcher nest monitoring and utilizing MAPS banding station data from the Institute of Bird Populations to examine how long-term abiotic environmental change is affecting breeding North American songbird populations. She is also passionate about combining art and science and enjoys nature journaling in her free time.
