Janny is a retired registered nurse who years ago “migrated” her attention to detail into the world of birding. After decades of life on California’s Central Coast, she and her husband have explored the well-known birding destinations and many hidden corners off the beaten path. She loves that birding fosters lifelong learning, travel, and friendships. Janny treasures sharing her passion with others, especially her grandchildren, using birds as a way to spark curiosity and appreciation for nature wherever they are.
