212 Elfin Forest Little Big Sit with Pete Dunne

It's not a bird walk; it's a bird sit! A Bird Sit requires birders to record observations from within a single, 16-foot diameter circle. A Big Sit typically runs from dawn to dusk. We are offering a Little Big Sit for three hours with Pete Dunne hosted by Janny and Steve Tillmann at the Elfin Forest. Note that this is a “stop by and scope” event, you are welcome to come at any time and spend time checking the current species list and chatting with Pete. Anyone interested in helping with the count is welcome, just bring your optics and hang out for a while. Snacks are welcomed.
The Little Big Sit takes place in the Elfin Forest at Bush Lupine Point Lookout. The Lookout is at the western end of the Ridge Trail. Ridge Trail can be accessed from the northern end of 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th or 16th street in Los Osos. Walk to the western end of the Trail to the Lookout.
