Beginning in December, gray whales make their way past Morro Bay on their epic migration from Alaska to Mexico - a journey of more than 12,000 miles round trip, making them one of the greatest travelers on Earth. Take a break from birding and join Lost Isle Adventures for a three-hour voyage in search of these magnificent giants. Dress in layers, and don't forget your camera and binoculars. While this trip does not include a pelagic birding leader, you can be sure there will still be plenty of birds to spot along the way.
Meets at 845 Embarcadero suite D, Morro Bay. When you arrive, identify yourself as an attendee from the Bird Festival.
