Trip Leader: Michael Mulroy

I'm a nature lover who loves walking, running, biking, coffee, reading, and of course birding. I grew up in Santa Barbara County, and have made my way to Morro Bay by way of Northern California and Panama. My parents got me into birding when I was young, but my interest has accelerated over the past five years for reasons unknown. I will bird anywhere, but gravitate to grasslands and woodlands. I study lichens growing on rocks, so if I'm not looking at a bird through my binoculars, I might be on my belly pondering a lichen through a hand lens.
