Event Details

Join Ginger Howard for a birding tour of the area on bicycle and on foot. This is a total 5.8-mile out and back with one moderate hill and short walks, starting and ending at Sea Pines Golf Resort. The pace will be leisurely with frequent stops to identify birds and discuss bird field marks and vocalizations. Bring multi-speed bicycle (tires for one stretch of dirt road), lock, helmet, water, snacks and lunch. Also bring: binoculars, layered clothing (it can be very cold at the beginning and warm by the end). Beginning birders welcome, but not recommended for beginning cyclists. Rain or high winds cancel. Be present with your bike and ready to go at 8:30 AM in the parking lot. Meets at Sea Pines Golf Resort. 1945 Solano St, Los Osos.
