Trip Leader: Rachel Clark
Biography
Rachel Clark grew up in the small town of Fowler, CA (just south of Fresno), and began birding at the age of nine when a Western Tanager landed in a tree in her parents' backyard. Today, Rachel works part-time as a wildlife biologist, and is the owner of a small guiding company called Central California Birding Tours, through which she offers excursions in the central Sierra Nevada, San Joaquin Valley, and sometimes along the central coast. Rachel lives in Fresno with her husband, Alex. In her spare time, Rachel loves hiking and birding in the Sierra Nevada and Coast Ranges.
