Jay Carroll
Jay is a retired marine biologist who has worked as an environmental consultant on the Central Coast for over 35 years. His interest in birds began with shorebird censuses in Elkhorn Slough in the 1970s and later expanded during trips to southeast Alaska, the Galapagos Islands and Australia. With Morro Bay as his "backyard", he has enjoyed the opportunity to pursue his interest in birding while he and his wife Ellen have raised their family here.
