Ginger Howard Virginia "Ginger" Howard grew up in Brooklyn with a mother who was an avid backyard birder. Her grandfather was President of an Audubon Society chapter in Ohio. At 27, she decided to take up birding more seriously and has been birding ever since. She lives in Aptos, California, and has worked as a corporate, real estate and nonprofit attorney in the greater Monterey Area for more than 25 years. Her favorite past-time is to bike and bird.
