Jeanne Miller Jeanne Miller has always loved the outdoors and got hooked on birds about 15 years ago on a camping trip. Stepping over a footbridge, she and her husband saw a mysterious creature underwater, swimming after its food. A grebe! Since that day, she's enjoyed the challenge of finding and identifying birds, but feels that the best part of birding is just being outside observing nature. She's been involved in Christmas Bird Counts in San Luis Obispo county since 2011.
