Marilyn Rose Marilyn Rose is the co-owner of Out of this World Optics in Mendocino, CA. Marilyn and her husband, James Blackstock, started the business in 1988 (young and foolish) after happily dropping out of corporate America! We have grown to be the largest binocular and spotting scope seller in northern and central California, due to selling only quality optics at good prices and helping customers find exactly the right model for their eyes, hands and viewing conditions.
