Laney White Laney is a biologist working with the USGS Western Ecological Research Center in Santa Cruz. As part of the Seabird Studies Team, her work focuses on the distribution, abundance, and species composition of seabirds and marine mammals in the California Current System. She is interested in applied conservation and exploring new methods for effective ecosystem monitoring.
