Chris Henry

Chris is a 15-year-old birder from the Bay Area and the 2024 American Birding Association Young Birder of the Year. A lifelong bird enthusiast, he has volunteered with a bird banding crew in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for two summers and spent a season monitoring endangered California Least Terns. Chris especially enjoys shorebirds and the thrill of finding rarities, and his birding adventures have already taken him to four continents.
