Leader Details

Robert Lindsay Rob has been birding Santa Barbara County for the last 45 years. He was a field observer for in the 1980's prior to the capture of the last remaining California Condors and was among those monitoring the last known wild nest. I have birded extensively throughout the US and beyond (Hawaii, Jamaica, Nepal, Belize, Peru, Ireland, Spain, Morocco, Australia, New Zealand. I am an ex-president of the Santa Barbara Audubon Society and have led field trips for the chapter for four decades. I am still on the board of SBAS. I also teach a field course on the Birds of the Santa Barbara Region for Santa Barbara City College. I'm a retired public school science teacher.
