Carol Comeau Carol moved to the Central Coast in 1980 after receiving her degree in Recreation Resources from Colorado State University. After a brief career as an environmental educator she became an elementary school teacher. Travel and natural history have always been a passion for her. Since retiring in 2014, Carol has been brushing up on her 40 year old birding skills. Recently she has enjoyed traveling and birding in Texas, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Trinidad, Guyana, and Bonaire. When she is not traveling, Carol splits her time between homes in Los Osos, CA and Portal, AZ.
