Dawn Beattie Dawn has been Birding for only a short time, but she made up for lost time by accumulating a serious life list in just a few years. Dawn received a BS in Mechanical Engineering in the early 80's and an MBA in the early 90's. She worked at a San Diego Telecommunications company for 13 years, retiring as a Senior Director. Since moving to the Central Coast in 2007, she has taken up Photography and Birding, and as a "propeller-head", enjoys focusing on the computer side of things (like eBird).
