Dawn Beattie Dawn has accumulated a serious life list after birding for only a few years. Dawn received a BS in Mechanical Engineering in the early 80's and an MBA in the early 90's. She worked at a San Diego Telecommunications company for 13 years, retiring as a Senior Director. Since moving to the Central Coast in 2007, she has taken up Photography and Birding, and as a "propeller-head", enjoys focusing on the computer side of things (like eBird). She lives in the Cloisters and enjoys getting to know all she can about the birds that live and migrate through here.
