Evan Weissman

Evan Weissman is a retired naturalist who has worked as an interpreter of natural and cultural history at Angel Island and Olompali State Historic Park in the San Francisco Bay Area. He also leads tours and volunteers with Golden Gate Bird Alliance, the Marin County Breeding Bird Atlas, and Año Nuevo State Park. Evan enjoys not only identifying birds, but also observing their behaviors and understanding their role in the ecosystem.
