Are you curious about the migration of the monarch butterfly and the habitats they rely on? Join pollinator garden designer, Melissa Gonzalez and Peggy Burhenn, State Park Docent at the Monarch Preserve, as we "pioneer" through the eucalyptus /pine tree groves to explore this magnificent creature in the field at one of their overwintering sites to observe, draw, write and learn more about the significance of this mysterious phenomenon. Bring: portable tripod stool, water and sun hat, your favorite journal and writing supplies (watercolors and brush pen, colored and graphite pencils, pens for drawing).
