The Piedras Blancas Light Station, located 6 miles north of San Simeon, offers excellent views of pelagic birds on the offshore rock formations and out to sea. Join Russ Namitz and Leisyka Parrott for a tour of the grounds and a birding walk around the property. Meets at the former Piedras Blancas Motel, 1.5 miles north of the Light Station on Highway 1. After meeting, cars will caravan from this point to the Light Station. The group must pass through the entry gate at the same time.
