Rock Walk, Bay Cruise & Lunch with Scott Weidensaul

Join VIP Scott Weidensaul and Mark Mushkat for a special birding experience that combines a morning walk with a scenic bay cruise and lunch. The outing begins at Morro Rock, where Scott and Mark will lead the group in search of Peregrine Falcons, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, sparrows, and the elusive Canyon & Rock Wrens. Additional sightings may include cormorants, Brown Pelicans, a variety of gull species and age classes.
After birding at Morro Rock, participants will drive a short distance to the Chablis Cruises loading ramp. The Chablis, a distinctive 50-foot, two-story riverboat, features panoramic windows and a rooftop deck - an ideal setting for observing the bay's birdlife. Lunch is included and features homemade clam chowder, a turkey croissant sandwich, and Caesar salad.
