This trip is intended for Festival attendees driving from the Festival to Southern California. Join Santa Barbara County Nature Guides for a cruise on Cachuma Lake . Enjoy a 1 & 1/2 hour pontoon cruise aboard the Osprey to view different species of local and migratory birds. White pelicans, geese, bald eagles, osprey, diving and dabbling ducks and shore birds visit Cachuma Lake during late fall and winter months. In addition to great birding on the lake and surrounding trails, there is a nature museum, cafe, market, gas station, fishing and boat rentals, disc golf and bike trails. Los Olivos, Solvang, Santa Barbara, and the old stage coach stop Cold Spring Tavern with resident Steller's Jays are all nearby. Meets at 124 Lakeview Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93105.
