Join zzzzzzzzzzzzz to hike to the top of Black Hill for a remarkable view of the bay and watershed. Learn the history and ecology of the Morro Bay estuary, and important conservation actions taking place to protect this special resource, as you also look for a variety of birds that live here. The Morro Bay estuary is one of only 28 National Estuaries and is an Audubon Important Bird Area. The trail is steep in places but less than 1/2 mile in length. 5 miles roundtrip by personal vehicle. Moderate to Strenuous. Meets at Morro Bay Comm. Center, 1001 Kennedy Way, Morro Bay.
