258 Estero Bluffs State Park Habitat Walk
Join Faylla Chapman for a habitat stroll on Estero Bluffs. Follow the bluff-side path from the shipwrecked fishing vessel, Point Estero, to San Geronimo Creek and the restored windmill, looking for birds and whales offshore while walking through dune scrub, native and non-native grasses and wetland. Learn the history of the area, see the amazing offshore rocks and intertidal and possibly make it down to the beach. Meets at the "Fig Tree" parking lot on CA-1 north of Cayucos. The Fig Tree Parking lot is the third parking area 2.1 miles north of where CA-1 becomes single-lane.
